The New Gear is Here…
…and the Wedge Monitors are Gone !
The Sennheiser wireless in-ear monitor system is
used by artists like the Cure, Dave Matthews and
now, Circle Like a Halo. Jason researched and
purchased this new system and CLAH loves the fact
that our wedge monitors are history. Wedge
monitors add noise on-stage and, like any
stationary speakers, can’t move with you – they
have a “sweet spot” and, it you’re not standing in
that spot, your monitor mix is inferior.
Sennheiser’s in-ear monitor system delivers a
personal stereo mix to each member of Circle Like
a Halo. The sound is crystal-clear – whether we’re
standing next to each other, on opposite sides of
the stage, or out in the parking lot. Each unit is
small, lightweight, portable and wireless which
makes these devices perfect for CLAH live shows.
With these new in-ear monitors, the “sweet spot” is
wherever we’re standing.
Action from the Bass Section
In addition to singing and playing keyboards,
Shannon is learning to play bass guitar. Her new
instrument is a Gretsch Electromatic Junior Jet Bass
with a black burst. The 30” short scale is a perfect
size for her hands and the TV Jones designed
Gretsch mini-humbucker delivers smooth tone with
plenty of punch.
Mars Needs Guitars (and so did Mike…)
Mike has added a new guitar to his collection, a
black Epiphone Les Paul Custom with a white pick-
guard, and it’s quickly become his favorite. The 3
Alnico classic humbuckers give him near infinite
tonal combinations and the gold Bigsby tremolo
provides twang and whammy possibilities.
